ENGLISH TRANSLATION.

The proconsul Gaius Norbanus Flaccus to the magistrates of the Sardians, greetings.
Caesar has written to me, ordering that the Jews shall not be prevented from gathering and from sending to Jerusalem monies, however much these monies may be, according to their ancestral custom.
I write, therefore, to you, that you may know that Caesar and I wish it to be so.
